WANT TO SERVE?

On Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10am-1pm at Mission Hills High School, Discover Church is hosting a free Community Outreach Event called “Back to School Bash” in San Marcos to serve local families with:

  • Free haircuts

  • Food and food trucks

  • School supplies and shoe giveaways

  • Carnival games, DJ, face painting & more

  • Fire and police department involvement

WANT TO GIVE?

If you are connected to any local business or individuals who would like to contribute charitable donations, donate as charitable giving, or sponsor portions of this event, feel free to email info@discoverchurchsd.com with any connections you might have.

We’re inviting individuals and local businesses to help fund parts of the event — not through sponsorship tiers, but by covering real needs like:

  • 👟 Shoes – $10/pair × 300 pairs

  • 🎒 300 Backpacks – est. $20 each

  • 🎶 DJ and/or game stations – $100–$500

  • 🎁 Prize giveaways – any amount

  • 🙋🏻‍♂️ Other - you can be creative!
